Kleinfelder is a $250 million environmental and geotechnical engineering firm, also providing services in construction materials testing and observation. Founded in 1961, Kleinfelder currently has nearly 70 offices and testing laboratories across the United States. The firm's staff of more than 2,000 professional, technical, and support personnel have a wide range of experience within the fields of geotechnical, civil, mechanical, seismic, and chemical engineering; earth sciences; quality assurance/quality control; and information system management. Services include site characterization and remediation, air quality, foundation engineering, soil and rock engineering, earth-retaining structures, earthquake engineering, pavement evaluation and design, inspection, construction and program management, materials engineering and testing, and value engineering. Kleinfelder’s New Mexico operation has been serving the region since 1996, has a project office in Los Alamos, NM and recently added our Midland/Odessa and Abilene, TX operations.
